The golf club, at Hopwood Park, is an 18 hole championship standard course designed by Harry Shapland Colt. It is a superb mixture of parkland and moorland set in some 240 acres. It totals 6,490 yards with SSS 72. It presents a real challenge to the low handicap golfer, yet the yellow course, at 6,235 yards SSS 70 also offers a choice to suit all handicaps.

The 18-hole course extends along the valley of the Moors River, it covers a total of 6337 yards and includes four par 5s, ten par 4s and four par 3s.
As well as the 18-hole course there is a four-hole pitch and putt course with holes ranging from 35 to 70 yards. Other practice facilities include practice nets, chipping and putting greens. Everyone is welcome to play on the Moors Valley golf course. Coaching sessions are available for adults on Sunday and Monday mornings.

Woodlands Golf and Country Club is situated on the edge of the Severn Valley boarded by Hortham Brook and Shepherds Wood just a stones throw from Bradley Stoke. It is ideally located for easy access from Bristol by the M4 and M5. There was some incredible low scoring in the Theatre Cup, played at the Club in perfect conditions. Will Taylor eventually won the competition with a nett 63, but only on a count back with Tim Herbert and Dan Scriven! He reduced his handicap to 3.8. Will, an Island junior player, returned a two under gross 68, which included three birdie twos and two birdie threes.
