Our challenging course is 18 holes, par and S.S.S. 72 and measures 6,612 yards from the competition tees.

We were founded in 1989 and open for play in 1991. Whilst the course is long, the fairways are generous and the holes are surrounded by trees.

The course has been designed with ample space between holes.

You play ‘your own hole’, there are no cross – overs and it is difficult to knock your ball onto another fairway due to the spacious...

Visitors and Societies Visitors are welcome at Dunstable Downs Golf Club through the week. At weekends visitors must be introduced by and play with a member. Society days are weekdays with the exception of Wednesday and on Friday there is a limit of 20 players. Our fees are available upon request:

Clean, smart dress for the Course and Clubhouse must be worn at all times.
Gentlemen must wear collared ‘Polo’ shirts, or tops ‘with turtle’ type necks
designed specifically for golf. ALL shirts must be worn tucked into full length
trousers or tailored shorts.
Socks, which cover the ankle, must always be worn both on the course and
in the clubhouse (‘Trainer socks’ are not permitted).

South Beds Golf Club in Luton has two courses, the 18-hole Galley Hill Course and the 9-hole Warden Hill Course. Both are downland courses built around the chalk hills of Bedfordshire. This makes both courses a challenge for golfers of all abilities and a location most suitable for golf all year round, regardless of the weather.

Tilsworth Golf and Conference Centre is located near Dunstable, Bedfordshire and we have venues for Wedding Receptions and Wedding Breakfasts, facilities for Business Meetings and Conferences, a bar and restaurant and of course the 18 hole Golf Course.

The Club was officially opened in 1932 and has regularly featured in the top 100 golf courses in the UK. We are very pleased to announce that starting in 2003 and for a period of six years, Ashridge will host an 'Open Championship ' Regional Qualifying Competition. We are naturally delighted to have been selected by the
R & A as a 'qualifying' course and of having the privilege of being associated with the 'Championship'.

An easy walking parkland course. The first hole is a dogleg left, par 5, with tee behind a small pond.
There are excellent views to the left towards Ivinghoe Beacon. The Amen Corner comprises of
the 505 yard 11th par 5, down to a small green with a wooded backdrop- the index 1 12th hole par4,
and the 175 yard par 3 13th with water to theleft, which need to be negotiated to keep the card intact.
The 16th hole par 4 is only 389 yards long but requires a precise drive...

Harpenden Common is a Standard Scratch 70 6200 yard easy walking course set over Common Heath and Park Land.

Harpenden Common Golf Club is situated north of St. Albans on the A1081 and in close proximity to Junction 9 of the M1.
