Walton Hall Golf Course in Warrington is regarded as one of the finest municipal golf courses in the North West. This web site has been developed by Walton Hall Golf Club which has active Mens, Ladies and Junior sections holding regular golf competitions throughout the year. The club operates independently of the course, the management and operation of which is under the control of the Director of Golf and Warrington Borough Council.

Vicars Cross Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland golf course of almost 6500 yards at its full distance and is situated in rural Cheshire on the A51 four miles east of Chester. The course is interesting and varied and is designed to test all aspects of your game.
Facilities include a driving range with covered bays, extensive short game practice areas, buggy hire an attractive modern club house with spike bar, lounge and dining room supported by full catering and bar facilities.

Sandiway is an old, well established and highly regarded private members' club lucky enough to possess a classic English wooded heath land course. It has been described variously by the author Robin Allen as `The Wentworth of the North' in his book and by national golfing publications as `a course you must play before you die' and `a jewel in Cheshire's crown.'

Sale Golf Club, founded in 1913, is a well established parkland course with a standard scratch of 70. The Clubhouse, the lodge of Sale Old Hall Circa 1830, is steeped in tradition and has a well-earned reputation for good food and hospitality.
Famous for our 'Open Champion', Richard Burton, who was the last 'Club Professional' to win the Open Championship, we have been home to many great golfers including Joanne Morley, currently on the Ladies professional circuit.

Reaseheath Golf Club was founded in 1987. The course had been developing in the years up to this point as a result of the increased requirement for facilities for the practical training of green-keeping and golf course management students.
