Romiley golf club was founded on 29th July 1897 and was originally known as
Woodley and Romiley golf club. Course architect Tom Renouf used the natural contours of the land to plan and design what is now regarded as one of the best layouts in Cheshire with stunning views across the county and the foothills of the peak district National Park.
The golf course measures 6412 yards and has a par of 71 with every hole tree lined making an idyllic yet challenging course.

Lying on the western hills of the Pennines where Derbyshire and Cheshire meet, Mellor is an interesting mixture of moorland and parkland golf. Magnificent views across the Cheshire plain and Derbyshire hills serve as a backdrop for a course to test the skills of all golfers at all levels.

Situated less than half a mile from the A6, Hazel Grove Golf Club is both highly accessible and hidden away. A short drive up the lane and the hustle and bustle of the main road and urbania is left behind as you relax into the tranquil surroundings of the Club.

As you approach through the foothills of the Pennines you could be excused for thinking that you are in for a mountainous round of golf. Nothing could be further from the truth. You will soon discover that the course, nestling in the Valley between Whaley Bridge and Chapel en le Frith, is built on gentle rolling parkland surrounded by really magnificent scenery.
