Established in 1930, this 18-hole undulating parkland course is located in the grounds of Allestree Hall within Allestree Park. The higher points of the course allow picturesque views across rural Derbyshire. The course offers a challenging test of golf with the trees, which line the fairways, ready to catch the wayward shot! Steeped in history and tradition, Beeston Fields Golf Club lies four miles west of Nottingham, yet only 8 minutes from junction 25 of the M1. It is a well laid out parkland course, with many fine features. Its trees and natural contours add to both the beauty and difficulty of the course.

Formed in 1905, the Erewash Valley Golf Club fully deserves its reputation as a top class golf course. An excellent and scenic use of natural features provides enjoyable year round golfing, and will test the skills of all standards of golfer. Wollaton Park Golf Club, Nottingham's premier golf club, is regarded by many as truly one of the "gems of Midland Golf". Ruddington Grange, the first of a new crop of Nottinghamshire golf clubs is an attractive parkland type layout. Although quite open there is danger lurking in the way of cleverly positioned water hazards which come into play on eight holes. At just over 6,500 yards the course is not "long" by current standards and can be enjoyed by every standard of golfer. The course record of 68 was set in 1989 by Chris Hall and later matched by Lee Westwood.

The main course here at Trent Lock has two par 5, 5 par 3 and eleven par 4 holes, plus water features and three holes adjacent to the river Trent. A challenging test of golf awaits you whatever your level of skill. Hucknall Golf Centre comprises an 18 Hole Golf Course, Practice Chipping and Putting Greens and Clubhouse Facilities. The 6001 yard, Par 71 Course has been carefully remodelled to provide a parkland feel. With mounding lining the majority of fairways it is important that you hit your drive on them in order to make your approach to the greens easier.
