Wrangaton Golf Club was formed in 1895 when a 9 hole golf course was established on rented land on the foot of the southern edge of Dartmoor.
The club now owns the land, and has added a further 50 acres of parkland below the original course and a further 9 holes were established in 1988. The result is a uniquely different and challenging course, 9 holes moorland and 9 holes parkland, situated only 5 minutes off the A38
between South Brent and Ivybridge.

The Warren Golf Club presents a rare challenge – golf as it used to be. It is the only true links course on the South coast of Devon, sited in a National Nature Reserve. With water on both sides of the course and often a tricky wind the course can be demanding, but the surroundings and natural beauty more than compensate for the occasional errant shot.

The club has around 800 members in total across all sections, and of these about 100 are single-figure players, which speaks volumes about the standard of player the course attracts. At 6231 yards, it is not a long course. However, it does offer a fair and interesting test of golf, requiring accurate shots in order to score well.

Thanks to its excellent drainage, the course is rarely closed due to rain, though obviously thunderstorms pose the same threat here as anywhere else!...

The course was originally farmland and with a lot of hard work and tree planting has been transformed into a beautiful parkland course.

The front nine holes are a flat walk and cross the river twice including once with a drive. The back nine is hillier and has two ponds that come into play if a less than perfect shot is made.

The picturesque par 70, 18 hole golf course of nearly 6,000 yards with extensive water hazards offers good sport for golfers of every skill level including beginners. The course is gently sloping - no hills.

The total length of the course is 6208 yards, with a S.S.S. of 70. There are two really long holes of 557 and 516 yards, so even the tigers will find that there is plenty of scope for good, honest hard hitting. Most of the par four holes are well within the two shot distance for the average player. Churston calls for a great variety of shots, but the holiday golfer will find from the point of view of length, it does not provide too exacting a test.

A beautiful cliff top 18 hole course overlooking the sea in South Devon at Bigbury on Sea, ideally situated between Exeter and Plymouth.

No golfer visiting the South Hams should miss the opportunity of playing at friendly Bigbury Golf Club. It's an ideal holiday course: challenging enough for the low-handicappers but not too daunting for the relative beginner.
