The 18 hole parkland course whilst not too long, 5984 yards to be exact, is popular with many seasoned golfers, yet is no too daunting for the less experienced. There are no hills to climb but the undulating nature of some of the fairways may leave you with a demanding approach to the well manicured and receptive greens. Eaglescliffe & District Golf Club lies one mile to the north of the historic medieval riverside town of Yarm, and is situated on rolling terrain shelving down to the River Tees. A short drive from the towns of Stockton, Darlington, and Middlesbrough, the area is readily accessible by road, rail, and air.

Founded in 1914 as a 13-hole course on Yarm Back Lane, Eaglescliffe moved to its present position in 1928 with a long 18-hole, Par 77 course designed by the famous James Braid.

Durham City Golf Club is one of England's oldest inland clubs having been inaugurated in December 1887.

During that time we have had three homes within the ancient city of Durham moving to our third, and hopefully final course, here at Littleburn in November 1974.

The course is a delightful meadowland course laid out on the banks of the River Browney just off the A690 some 2 miles SW of Durham City.

Founded in 1908 and designed by Dr Alistair Mackenzie, the designer of the Augusta National, home of the US Masters, the 18-hole parkland course shares many similarities to the Masters ’ track. The Ramside Course comprises of three loops of nine holes - The Princes, Bishops and Cathedral Courses. Each loop has its own individual features, but all blend well with each other, and allow different Courses of the Day.

Situated in the Land of the Prince Bishops , with views of the picturesque Wear Valley, it is easy to see why Bishop Auckland Golf Club is considered one of the treasures in County Durham.
