Even without its historical Club House, the Club would have many excuses for self-congratulation. It is an 18 hole, picturesque parkland course on high ground sloping down to the small River Ingrebourne that meanders its way through the lower part of the course on its way to join the Thames. Canary Wharf reaching for the sky.

Romney Warren opened in 1993, it is 5,126 yards long Par 67, Standard Scratch 65, from the Whites and 4,932 yards, Par 69 Standard Scratch 67 for the Ladies.
Although not long, and with no Par 5, the normal sea breeze and narrowish fairways make it a good test of golf.

A seaside course that provides a fine test of golf. At 6,265 yards, Frinton is not excessively long by modern standards and, at first glance, the open fairways with their lack of trees may seem unchallenging. But this is certainly not the whole story. The fast, firm, undulating greens test the best putters. Tidal ditches cross many fairways requiring accurately placed shots.
