This is a 9 hole course with 18 tees. The greens are in excellent condition and we play club matches. The club are the current holders of the Beds Mid Handicap league

The Golf Course and Club were founded in 1892 and opened for play in 1893, making Mid-Herts Golf Club one of England's earliest golf courses.

Letchworth's course was originally constructed over nine holes in 1905 and extended to full eighteen holes in 1911 by the famous professional Harry Vardon. Always picturesque, well maintained and a good challenge the course was rather short on length by today’s standards. So in 1999 the club acquired some new land and embarked on a major course extension; this was completed in 2003 and has enabled Letchworth to maintain its place as one of Hertfordshire’s leading golf courses.

Designed by Cameron Sinclair, the Scottish golf course architect, the course is set on 240 acres of mature wood and parkland. Fairways have been cut through wood land to give the course an established feel. At 6,953 yards this par 72 course provides experienced golfers with a challenge whilst not frustrating beginners.

Mount Pleasant is a most attractive Nine-Hole Golf Course with 18 different tees, set in 70 acres of farm land, incorporating 3 meadows, with existing trees, hedges, ponds and ditches, playing nearly 6200 yards with a par of 70.
