Verulam is a challenging course renowned for its fast undulating greens. The course is tight and sets a premium on accuracy and shot control. South Herts Golf Club benefits from a range of first class facilities: a mature 18 hole 6432 yard par 72 main course, a 1582 yard par 28 "par 3" short course, a practice ground with a number of covered practice bays, and a comfortable and well-appointed club house.

Originally arable farm-land, an almost continuous programme of tree-planting over more than a hundred years has produced an undulating wooded landscape that is as attractive to look at as it is challenging to play.

mature 5660 yard (par 70) course. Originally designed by Henry Cotton - subsequently extended by Donald Steel, the course is both challenging but enjoyable, providing a variety of hazards through parkland and woodland copses.

Officially opened on July 16, 1910, when Harry Vardon and James Braid took
part in an exhibition match, the course has since undergone some subtle
changes. The redevelopment following WWII left intact the sleepers at the 2nd
and 10th, as well as the Mae West mounds at the 12th. The year 2000 saw a
redevelopment that re-bunkered the course, added subtle mounding, and altered

The beautiful course offers a mature 6291 yard par 71 providing a delightful challenge to the accomplished golfer whilst not being daunting for the higher handicapped player.

Porters Park is a golfing gem located in rural Hertfordshire. It is a parkland course featuring wonderfully varied selection of pine and deciduous trees. Each hole is memorable in its character.

Set amidst 300 acres of mature woodland and finest Hertfordshire parkland, Moor Park features not one but two championship golf courses. Designed by Harry Colt in 1923 to blend into the grounds of the estate, the courses combine challenging golf holes - ideal for competition, practice or tuition. The Golf Course and Club were founded in 1892 and opened for play in 1893, making Mid-Herts Golf Club one of England's earliest golf courses.

Letchworth's course was originally constructed over nine holes in 1905 and extended to full eighteen holes in 1911 by the famous professional Harry Vardon. Always picturesque, well maintained and a good challenge the course was rather short on length by today’s standards. So in 1999 the club acquired some new land and embarked on a major course extension; this was completed in 2003 and has enabled Letchworth to maintain its place as one of Hertfordshire’s leading golf courses.
