Situated at the highest point of Green Haworth, in Accrington Lancashire, the club has some awe-inspiring views of the surrounding area. Looking outward from our signature hole 'Bedlam' you can see across the borough of Hyndburn, over to Blackburn, the Coppice and Pennines, and on to the surrounding Ribble Valley.

Clitheroe is a beautiful 18 hole parkland golf course located in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Designed by the legendary Scottish designer, James Braid, the course has been on its present site since 1932. Over the years the course has developed to 6518 yards when played off the championship tees with a par and SSS of 71 strokes. The course is a challenge to all levels of golfer with a premium on straight driving without being too demanding physically.

BURNLEY GOLF CLUB probably ranks amongst the top five favourite courses
of most golfers connected to the East Lancashire Golf Association
Fair but challenging, the Glen View course (as BGC is known locally)
stands on the fringe of the Habergham Eaves moors which overlook
Burnley from the road towards Rawtenstall. It is a course which
makes excellent use of the rolling countryside and offers a

At 5,843 yards and par 69 (ladies 72), the course is not long by modern standards but it has a pair of excellent par 5's and five par 3's, none of which are that easy.

The combination of parkland and moorland with the threat of challenging rough and a few water hazards can make a round interesting enough, especially for the player who is driving off-line.

Formed in October 1890, Pleasington is without doubt one of the best tests of golf in the North-West of England, with a superb layout, being part heathland in character with some heather. This beautiful and picturesque golf course is within 2 miles of exit 3 of the M65 Motorway in Pleasington, a rural village area on the outskirts of Blackburn, with magnificent country views.

The breathtaking backdrop of the Ribble Valley and Pendle Hill makes playing Mytton Fold`s 18 hole par 72 course an unforgettable experience. This fast maturing course has many interesting holes.

After being opened by Kenny Dalglish on the 8th June 1994, Mytton Fold became the only three star hotel with it`s own golf course in the area. That makes it a must for any golfer. Test your driving power at the 516yd, 7th, see if you can join the hole-in-one club at the par 3, 1st.

The Whalley Golf Club was founded in 1912 on its present site. But the clubhouse dates back to 1751. It was an old barn that was converted and extended in 1972 when a highway scheme alongside the course made it necessary to find a new clubhouse. Careful renovation allowed some of the original beams and walls to be featured. Almost the entire course can be viewed from the clubhouse. Blackburn Golf Club is a parkland course with superb views of the Lancashire coast and Pennine Hills. The club was founded in 1894 at the height of Blackburn's power as a cotton and engineering town. The driving force was Walter Stirrup. The Parkland course, set amongst rolling hills, has superb views of the Lancashire coast and the Pennies and, with its lush greens and fairways, offers an excellent test for any golfer.

Formed in 1893 by a local vicar Darwen Golf Club has grown steadily in size and reputation over the last century. Built on undulating moorland, it is a very challenging eighteen hole course that measures 6354 yards, and has over recent years added many new features . With breath taking views over The Fylde Coast, Lake District and North Wales this challenging course will appeal to every type of golfer.
