Measuring a little over 6000 yards from the championship tees, the course is not overly long; however, a look at the standard scratch of 72 against a par of 71 indicates a good test awaits when you come to play! It is a mature parkland course with plenty of natural hazards that will excite you, frustrate you, and if you keep your concentration, ultimately reward you. The greens in particular are well guarded so your iron play will be tested to the full.
The par 3s are also tricky to negotiate and you will need to carefully consider...

Childwall is a testing 6470 yard parkland course,
demanding accuracy from the tee.
The course design was based on the recommendation of James Braid when the Club moved to its present excellent site at Gateacre in1938. Over the years it has undergone some alterations, mainly to increase the length.
In addition to the course the Clubhouse is extremely attractive, serves excellent food and has a friendly, hospitable atmosphere.

The course is in extremely good condition and provides a golfing test that is balanced yet deceiving.
The facilities within the clubhouse are second to none and our jewels in the crown are our caterers of whom we are justifiably proud. Nobody visiting Lee Park ever leaves with a complaint about either the quality or quantity of the meals served. Indeed many people who re-visit do so to avail themselves of the excellent food available.
