The Club was founded in 1920, originally six holes designed by Tom Williamson, and soon extended to nine holes. In 1990 a further nine holes were opened to give an 18 hole, 6409 yards, par 72 and S S S 72 course.

The course is most picturesque and is played mainly through mature oak woodland with tree lined fairways to test the most talented of golfers. The underlying rock strata is sandstone and, with a fairway irrigation system, ensures that the course is normally playable...

In July of 1891, the first ever meeting of the committee of what is now Lindrick Golf Club met to consider the formation of a Golf Club, and to consider a number of potential sites. Later that month it was agreed that the course should be sited on Lindrick Common and within 3 months the course was open. The first competition was played on 9 April 1892 over 9 holes; it was won by William Jessop with a gross 74, less full handicap allowance of 45, giving a net score of 29. The original results...

The 18 hole course offers a challenging but enjoyable round of golf with water hazards coming into play on 4 holes. The excellent drainage allows the use of the main tees all year round and you will always find a warm welcome whenever you visit.
