In July of 1891, the first ever meeting of the committee of what is now Lindrick Golf Club met to consider the formation of a Golf Club, and to consider a number of potential sites. Later that month it was agreed that the course should be sited on Lindrick Common and within 3 months the course was open. The first competition was played on 9 April 1892 over 9 holes; it was won by William Jessop with a gross 74, less full handicap allowance of 45, giving a net score of 29. The original results...

The golf course is today being prepared for reopening for general play, tomorrow SATURDAY 4 AUGUST, at 7.30 a.m. There will be no trolley ban, but until further notice 'Pick and Place' rules will apply throughout the whole course and all bunkers will be mandatory GUR.

The 18 hole course offers a challenging but enjoyable round of golf with water hazards coming into play on 4 holes. The excellent drainage allows the use of the main tees all year round and you will always find a warm welcome whenever you visit.

Rushcliffe Golf Club was founded in 1909 by a group of Nottingham businessmen who leased approximately 160 acres of land from Earl Howe, the then resident of nearby Kingston Hall. The clubhouse was built on 1 acre of land purchased from other sources. The course is situated on a wooded ridge which rises above the Trent Valley giving magnificent views across the surrounding countryside and of the City of Nottingham in the distance.

Springwater Golf Club is set in 125 acres of undulating parkland in the heart of the beautiful Trent Valley. The Course opened in 1991 as a 9 hole course and was extended to an 18 hole course in 1998. The golf course enjoys a growing reputation as one of the county`s finest courses - both enjoyable but demanding and suited to all levels of expertise.
