The club has around 600 members in total across all sections, and of these about 40 are Category One players, which speaks volumes about the standard of player the course attracts. At 6231 yards, it is not a long course, however, it does offer a challenging test of golf, requiring accurate shots in order to score well. Thanks to its excellent drainage, the course is rarely closed due to rain, temporary greens are also seldom used unless there's an early morning frost.

Golf enthusiasts will love Brean Golf Club! It's an 18 hole, 5715 yard,
par 69 course, located at Brean Leisure Park, in approximately 100
acres of lush green meadowland. Water features come into play on
many of the holes providing formidable hazards to the flat landscape.
The greens are irrigated by a popup sprinkler and since the fairways
are cut from meadowland, they remain lush even in drought and are

Entry is now open for the Mendip Spring Golf Club Open competitions 2006
The Mendip Spring Golf Club Open Weeekend 2006. The date is the weekend of Saturday/Sunday the 3rd/4th June. There will be seperate Men's & Ladies 4BBB Stableford competitions on the Saturday.
The Sunday will have a Mixed 4BBB Stableford competition.
