Copthorne, a lovely old course set in attractive woodland, has been a private members club ever since its founding in 1892.

Situated half way between East Grinstead and Crawley and only five minutes from Junction 10 on the M23, the Club is very accessible but also offers a haven away from the hustle and bustle of life in the area. The quiet atmosphere is created by the trees, many of them hundreds of years old, which absorb the noise of the world about them.

The course, designed by the celebrated architect Harry Colt, comprises two loops of nine, each beginning and ending at the Clubhouse. The first nine are comparatively flat whilst the second are sited in much more undulating terrain. Strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy from the tee, plateau greens make for demanding approach shots whilst subtle borrows add to the pressures of putting. With a length of 6,277 yards and a par of 70, the course provides an excellent test of golf.

Consisting of two dramatic valleys which merge at the northern end of the site, the landscape is ideal for the creation of a high quality Championship length course. Although the contours of the site itself are dramatic, the vast majority of holes are played either level or downhill, with only one real uphill shot on the course and that a short pitch to the raised 2nd green.

Formed in 1938 Coulsdon Court was established to provide golf for those who wanted to join a club and enjoy the company of fellow golfers. The course was built in the early 1920's by the Cearn Family and was designed by Harry S Colt. It was leased to Croydon Council in the 1930s on the provision it was always kept as a Public Course.

Set within the magnificent wooded countryside of the High Weald of Sussex adjoining Tilgate Forest Park, this outstanding location offers unparalleled views. The park covers some 400 acres and was once part of the Tilgate Estate, which covered much of the surrounding area. Tilgate Forest is now classified as a country park and conservation area with golf being just one of the many activities on offer.

Bletchingley Golf Club first opened for play in September 1993. We have a pleasant and friendly clubhouse, which has undergone a sizeable extension and provides magnificent facilities for its members to be proud of. The Clubhouse provides the ideal venue in which to entertain both friends and clients, where the emphasis is on service & quality.

Mark Twain may well have said “Golf is a good walk spoiled”, however he never came to Horne Park Golf. If he had, this famous assessment may never have been made. When you come to Horne Park Golf you will share the same experience as many other people - one of total surprise. Surprised that for a nine-hole course, it appeals to the beginner, the learner, the improver and the steady golfer.
