Boldmere Golf club was established in 1936 originally as a 9 hole golf course. The club boasts the oldest pro-am event in Europe, with top professionals joining the competition since it began in 1952. A recent score of 57 by M. Morris stands as the lowest round at Boldmere golf club and a 5 under par round at boldmere with all of its challenging par 3's is no mean feat. Copt Heath Golf Club was formed in 1907 and is regarded as one of the finest courses in the Midlands. Reverting to 18 holes after the war, the Club continued to flourish and in 1919 the Clubhouse and Course came on to the market. J. W. Established in 1896, we are a private members golf club with an 18 hole course designed by H. S. Colt in a unique setting just two miles from the centre of Birmingham. We are very proud of our golf club and we enjoy extending a warm welcome to Visitors and Societies by prior arrangement.
The magnificent clubhouse shown opposite was originally commissioned by Sir Richard Gough in 1717.

Harborne is a delightful parkland course that was founded in 1893. It is just 3 miles South West of Birmingham City Centre and less than 5 miles from either junction 2 or junction 3 of the M5. A 6210 yard course and a par 70, whose landscape offers a challenge to both high and low handicap golfers. Visitors, members and prospective members are all welcome. Having a membership of less than 600 means that in the main, the course from Monday to Friday is readily accessible.

The gently undulating course, that can be both challenging and rewarding across a wide range of abilities, is set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield on the north eastern outskirts of Birmingham. This central position makes access from the motorway system very simple. A lovely Parkland Course over 100 years old, set in the West Midlands some 12 miles South East of Birmingham in a peaceful and tranquil setting. With Hotels in the Second City and Solihull itself, Olton Golf Club is easily accessible via the M40, M42, M6, A34, A45 should visitors wish to stay overnight.

Shirley Golf Club is a private members' club in the River Blythe Valley and is surrounded by fields and woodlands.
Among Midland clubs, Shirley has an outstanding reputation for its friendly and comfortable atmosphere and excellent bar-club catering facilities. It boasts several memorable holes and although every hole is tree lined and its fairways gently undulating, it offers a tough but fair test of golf and is very easy on the legs.

Sutton Coldfield Golf Club is one of the most prestigious private members clubs in the Midlands. It was founded in 1889 and two years later moved to the present course in Sutton Park. Sutton Park itself was once part of a royal hunting chase and was given to the people of Sutton Coldfield by Bishop Vesey in the 16th century.
