Broome Manor Golf Club is a fully affiliated golf club to the English & Wiltshire Golf Union, the English Ladies Golf Association & the Wiltshire Ladies Golf Union. The club has active Mens, Ladies, Seniors and Junior sections and is proud to have 4 international players, one of whom holed the putt that won the Walker Cup in September 1995 and was part of the winning Ryder Cup team 2004.

Sitting proudly on Wiltshire hillside, the course reflects all that is best of the local landscape. The 6,600 yard, 18 hole, Peter Allis designed Wiltshire is a par 72 jewel that has been sculpted out of the typical county terrain. Rolling, well-textured and welcoming fairways lead to USGA standard greens that run smooth, fast and true, but are challengingly contoured to focus the minds of all levels of golfers.

There has been a golf course on the present site since 1966, with the full 18 holes being completed in 1969. In May of that year the course was officially opened by former Open champion, Max Faulkner and Ryder Cup star, Brian Barnes (see thumbnails below). Now a mature course set in 110 acres, Shrivenham Park has developed a deserved reputation as offering a good and interesting test for golfers of all abilities. Most memorable is the course's own version of 'Amen Corner' - holes 5, 6 and 7...
