On the occasion of the club's centenary in 1991, Jack Nicklaus wrote a personal letter to its members saying "I have heard many nice things about Kilmacolm."
Often described as "a miniature Gleneagles", the course is set on the edge of the picturesque village of Kilmacolm, only 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport.

The course enjoys exquisite views down the Gryffe Valley towards the Renfrewshire hills. Kilmacolm, three miles inland from the River Clyde, was...

Hilton Park has two 18 hole courses, the Hilton and the Allander. We are a club with approximately 1200 members situated a few miles outside Milngavie, nine miles to the north of Glasgow, Scotland, right on the edge of 'Rob Roy' country.

Hayston is a private golf club near Kirkintilloch, 8 miles north of Glasgow, Scotland.

The terrain contradicts the yardage and makes club selection a critical part of playing the course. Although the greens are mainly on the small side, they are very deceptive. Looking generally flat, they can be slippery in summer when they are fanned by the prevailing westerly wind.

The card reads 6042 yards, par 70, although for most is appears somewhat longer.

Haggs Castle provides a glorious exception to the old adage that the best golf is always found in the most remote surroundings. To find such a fine course in a secluded setting only minutes away from the bustle of Glasgow city centre is a constant surprise to the visitor and a source of pleasure and pride to countless city golfers.

Set in the magnificent mature parkland of the Pollok Estate, Haggs Castle provides a delightful golfing environment and is a highly regarded venue....

Welcome to Glasgow Golf Club, Founded in 1787, it is the ninth oldest golf club in the World.

We are a members’ club, and we believe we’re unique, as we have two top-quality courses 35 miles apart.

At Killermont, on the North bank of the River Kelvin, and just five miles from Glasgow city centre, we enjoy a manicured parkland course which follows the original line of play to the greensites laid out by Old Tom Morris in December 1903. The course has hosted many...

Fereneze is a moorland course with panoramic views over the Clyde Valley towards Glasgow and beyond. The views, solitude, natural fauna and wildlife which can be spotted on the course make it difficult to believe that you are only 10 miles and 30 minutes by car from the centre of Glasgow. Many of the holes such as the 4th The Cobbler and the 11th Ben Lomond, are named after distant hills (or Munros as they are known) which are clearly visible on the skyline.

Mark Twain was quoted as saying it spoiled a nice walk. Around 900 members of Dullatur Golf Club would obviously disagree. Mind you, even if you share Mark Twain’s sentiments on golf, you would be hard put not to find something to entertain you at the beautifully situated Craigmarloch club.

In fact, drop in on the average day and you are just as likely to find members sweating it out in the gym, relaxing in the Jacuzzi or working on their golf handicaps.
