Undulating fairways and tight lies give the course a downland/links character. Bracken and gorse punish wayward shots and on windy days golfers need to negotiate the hazards with care.
There are many longer courses, but few with a finer set of par-threes. Equally memorable are the closing holes, usually played into the wind. The 18th in particular with its intimidating gorse and renowned split-level fairway will live long in the memory.

The course is laid out in two loops of nine holes and although each half tests the golfer, the second nine poses more difficulties. As with all great courses ‘P & K’ finishes with three extremely testing holes. All over 400 yards, well bunkered and designed perfectly to penalise any wayward shot.

superb clubhouse where the welcome is second to none and our reputation for the quality of the food is well known. Come in, relax and tell of the putts that got away, the superb drives that were only slightly off line and the bad luck you had with some of your lies. What a great way to end an enjoyable days golf!
