This mature Course was designed in the late 1880s by Sir Richard Williams Bulkeley and measures a deceptive 5.596 Yards in length and is created on mature heathland. The Par 68 Course threads it’s way cunningly through natural hazards, a river defends three of the holes as it meanders down to the Menai Straits. Baron Hill is a thinking golfers course where every club in the bag will be required to breach its defences and the watch word is very much ‘Course Management’.

The St. Deiniol Golf Club (Bangor) was established in 1906. Designed by James Braid, the famous golf architect and five times Open Champion, the course offers a fine test of golf.

Situated on "Bangor Mountain", this heathland course provides magnificent views of Snowdonia, the Great Orme, Puffin Island and the Menai Strait. Overall, a great place to be.

The 18 hole, par 68 golf course is an undulating course on high ground, with generous fairways and having natural hazards, leading to greens of varied character. It is an interesting course which offers a challenge to most golfers, but is also more relaxing for family holiday golf.

There are magnificent views from all over the course, but the 16th tee is special, as an almost 360 degree panoramic view embraces the Llyn Peninsula, Cardigan Bay, Cambrian Mountain Range and the...

First established in 1928, and extensively redesigned in 1973, Bala Golf Course is a very challenging 10-hole course looking over Bala Lake or Llyn Tegid – at over three miles long the largest natural lake in Wales. Designed by the renowned Llandudno pro, Syd Collins, the course has given nature a free hand in providing the necessary hazards required for a great round of golf. The first hole on a steep upward slope is described as probably the most challenging par 3 in the world where even...

Golf was first played at Nefyn in 1907 after a meeting, convened perhaps not surprisingly for a golf club, at the Ty Coch pub on Porthdinllaen beach, set below what is now the spectacular 15th fairway which the expert golfer will have, of course, found with a 200 yard carry over the local Life Boat Station!

Following this meeting a nine hole course was subsequently laid out and golf at Nefyn was born. Nefyn Golf Club used to be described as one of Wales’ ‘best kept secrets’,...

Porthmadog and Borth-y-Gest Golf Club, as it was originally called, was opened in the very early 1900's probably being played by 1905. Numerous changes and modifications have been carried out since those early days when members were expected to pay compensation for any grazing animals killed or injured by them.
