The Ampfield Par Three Golf Club came into being in the early 1960’s, the result of the inspiration of Alan Baker and Sir Henry Cotton, one of the legendary golf players of his era. At that time the number of golf clubs was quite limited, and Ampfield was described by Sir Henry Cotton as "Probably the best short course of its type in Europe!" Everyone who has played at Ampfield admires the course which is just as good today as it was over 40 years ago, continuing to provide excellent golf for players of all ages. My family bought the course from the previous owner and we have set about restoring the clubhouse and buildings, making sweeping improvements which we hope will attract back old and new members alike. We want to make Ampfield Golf Club a desirable venue for all occasions making Ampfield a happy and inviting place for all of its members and visitors. We would recommend you visit us, try the challenging course, the club facilities and become part of the happy family of golfers who make Ampfield unique.
