DescriptionGlyn Abbey is situated on the southern slope of the picturesque Gwendraeth valley. The surroundings are heavily wooded and there is an abundance of bird life. A further 35,000 trees were planted during construction of the course which was opened for play in 1992.

The course is close to a number of tourist attractions including Pembrey Coastal Park, Kidwelly Castle and the Gwendraeth Valley Mineral Railway & Llanelli, 5 miles to the east is host to the National Eisteddfod in Millennium.
