Description

In 1919 Aggborough Golf Club land was required for building operations and that club was closed, which helped to increase the growth of Comberton Club. A new pavilion was built on the present site of the clubhouse and membership increased rapidly to 224. At the AGM on 30th April 1921 the name was changed to Kidderminster Golf Club.

Subject: Review of Kidderminster Golf Club
Comment: Kidderminster Golf Club is One of Worcestershires Finest Private Members Golf Courses, which has celebrated its Centenary in 2009. The 18 Hole, Par 72 6441 yard Parkland Course presents an opportunity to enjoy a challenging and yet fair test of golf for every calibre of golfer. Tree lined fairways and well placed bunkers requires straight drives from most of the tees and a good short game when playing into the well protected greens. The greens are some of the best in the County and provide excellent putting surfaces all year round. A very warm welcome is provided to all the visitors and guests, coupled with an excellent choice of food and beverages from the caterer and bar facilities. A hidden gem of a golf course in the heart of Worcestershire offering fantastic value for money.
