Set in front of a stunning background of the northern hills Ramsey Golf Club was founded in 1891. It was laid out by Old Tom Morris, modified by George Lowe, and then in 1926 it was redesigned by James Braide, five times Open Champion. Most recently the course has been further modified to a plan of Steve Marnoch.

The Greenock Golf Club was founded in 1890 and is located in a commanding position high above the town. In 1924 that busiest of all Golf Course Architects, former open champion James Braid was invited to advise on reconstruction.

Founded in 1906 originally as a 9 hole course, Cowglen is a challenging parkland course with many holes requiring an accurate tee shot to allow the correct approach to its well guarded greens. The course was re-constructed in 1923 under the guidelines of James Braid to 18 holes.

Gatley Golf Club was established in 1912 and is regarded as one of the most challenging 9 hole courses in Cheshire. It is structured in two distinct parts of 5 and 4 holes, the latter being the most difficult. Over the last six months Lords has improved pretty much everything. Our 36 hole courses are being redesigned and reshaped, and are now open to everyone; even the facilities of the golf clubs have improved. We now have two new beautiful conference suites that have been built to accommodate Weddings, Conferences and Banquets, all with air conditioning, detailed lighting and simply stunning views. What more could a bride ask for on her perfect day ?
